Did Jesus suffer?
56Did Christ suffer as we are told?
During the Easter Holidays specifically Good Friday I watched a group of Philippines celebrate Jesus’ crucifixion in a rather unique and weird way. This got me to ask myself a couple of questions like; how long before they recover from the wounds? Is the pain really worth? Is this true faith? But the question that struck me most was did Jesus really suffer? Seeing those people and the pain they were going through gave me a different perspective to this issue. Those people whether or not they emulate the suffering of Jesus Christ are not sure if they are going to heaven or hell, if they do exist. Jesus was the son of God and was assured of going to heaven and therefore an excellent afterlife. He had also taken a human form so as to go through human experiences, but Jesus did not go through all the human experiences, for instance most normal human beings on getting to be Jesus’ age they would marry and take care of their families and see how difficult it is to go through those kinds of problems like wondering where to get your next meal, how you’re going to treat your sick child etc. etc. From this perspective I see that humans go through more suffering, emotionally, psychologically and physically than jesus himself did.

It is my strong belief, that Christ was very human. That he did marry, and suffered just as much as we do now. I believe he didn't become divine until his death. It is clear that his blood poured red like the rest of us. Nice first hub. Better than mine. Thank you.
